It all started with a chance meeting between Roy and a local laser cutter.

Roy loved the guys work and attention detail so brought his design ideas into the mix and the Uprise Saber Stand was born. So we simply started with the design of an innovative saber stand. Being electronics tinkerers and with an increasing number of parts on hand, we thought we’d expand to also stock parts. We intend to sell the occasional, completed saber and can also perform the odd repair for those individuals who don’t like soldering irons.

Primarily, Roy just wants other like-minded people to ‘play with’ so having some useful parts in stock helps grow the New Zealand Lightsaber Enthusiast community.
