If you’ve ever wondered how to make a lightsaber, check out our quick share of a home electronics build. Instead of a commercial board, we’re using an off the shelf Arduino micro controller, accelerometer and sound chip (plus all the other parts to make it work). A bit bulkier than a commercial board, but very flexible. it can essentially do whatever you program it to do. You’ll need some good soldering skills and you need to be able to code. To get started, head over to the JakeSoft thread on the Arduino Forum.
Don’t worry if you’re not electronically minded. Check out or online store for Fully Assembled Sabers.
