How it Works
Whilst we're ultra-nerdy enough to run a fine suite of well maintained 3D printers, our CAD skills are a work in progress. We're predominantly a 3D printing service and only charge for machine time, which is usually only NZ$3.00 p.h.! Our little 3D print store is simply an example of some of the items we can print for you from well know sources such as
www.ThingiVerse.com. It's a great source of 3D Printer files and we invite you to explore. If you see something you like, just come back to us for a print quote. ThingiVerse designs are covered by a range of different licenses from 'free to do what you want' Creative Commons licenses right through to 'non-commercial' clauses. For anything other than CC, we'll work with you to ensure no distribution licenses are breached (usually by simply asking the designer if we can print the item on your behalf). Easy as that. We tip the designers! Even though the example designs we use fall under Creative Commons, we still like to give credit where credit is due so always endeavour to 'tip' the designer for their work via (for example) the ThingiVerse 'tip designer' feature. Max Forward Voltage 3.5V Max Current 1000mA Arctic Blue is blue with a hint of green. The most suitable, closest available resistor will be linked below in the 'you may also like' section. You have a little leeway in choosing the correct resistance (due to how LEDs work). it's common to 'dither' the calculated value to the nearest commercially available value. You can always double check the exact resistor values by using our LED Resistor Calculator.
Chassis to fit a Saberforge lightsaber hilt. This is made to hold a 18650 battery and 28mm speaker which are not included. Has a flat top surface to which to attach a range of boards. We print these to order, often tuning the length to suit your electronics cavity (leaving enough for wires but no 'rattly' gaps). Variety of colours available. Note your preference(s) in the order notes at checkout. No RCP hole, but there is a clever way to fit one on a longer chassis :) It will work with the Premium or Bass speaker
