Sulphur City Foundry is the official SaberTrio representative for New Zealand and Australia. (Content & images courtesy of https://sabertrio.com).  With its three distinctive claws, uniquely shaped windows and highly detailed emitter, the Sabertrio Reaver easily distinguishes itself from the rest of the pack through its aggressive, but also elaborate design. The dual chokes and large lower section provides space for a strong grip. The Reaver is 300mm (12.0″) long and has an average diameter of 36mm (1.42″).

These are commonly used on Covertec wheels (not included).
  • This is a seriously nice Mandalorian Vibroblade model. Printed in 2x parts, it assembles to 29.5cm in length. We print at 0.15mm layer height and 80% infill (for weight). At that size, it's a swift print of just under 6 hours on the machine. This is a bare plastic print which looks great but would also lend itself to additional cosmetic work.

    How it Works

Whilst we're ultra-nerdy enough to run a fine suite of well maintained 3D printers, our CAD skills are a work in progress. We're predominantly a 3D printing service and only charge for machine time, which is usually only NZ$3.00 p.h.! Our little 3D print store is simply an example of some of the items we can print for you from well know sources such as www.ThingiVerse.com. It's a great source of 3D Printer files and we invite you to explore. If you see something you like, just come back to us for a print quote. ThingiVerse designs are covered by a range of different licenses from 'free to do what you want' Creative Commons licenses right through to 'non-commercial' clauses. For anything other than CC, we'll work with you to ensure no distribution licenses are breached (usually by simply asking the designer if we can print the item on your behalf). Easy as that. So if you're looking for a design we don't have listed as an example, just contact us.

We aim for a 10% tip (or the nearest equivalent on the drop-down). If the designer doesn't accept tips, 10% goes to a local charity!
  • This will hold most light sabers up to 4.5cm in diameter - the relief in the bottom portion is cut out to allow for wall mount power to your saber or for sound - the upper part will hold a 1" (25.4mm) blade securely enough that it wont fall out, but easy enough to take off the wall in case of Imperial entanglements. This is a bare plastic print.

  • A nice fan made piece. A Star Wars Droid Restraining Bolt. We print the model with a 5.1cm diameter. It's around 4cm high (other sizes on request). At that size, it's around 4 hours on the machine. This is a bare plastic print ready for you to sand, prime and paint. It also has a hole in the bottom for a small 1.0 x 0.5 cm magnet. You can choose between a collar with or without Aurebesh text.

  • First off, apologies for the price of cells at the moment. Supply chain issues have killed off the boutique NZ suppliers and we're having to import from overseas in small quantities via DHL / Fedex (Haz rated services). We prioritize cells for our installs, but occasionally have a spare or two to list from our regular orders. Button top model ideal for soldering. Protected circuit. rated for 15A continuous discharge, making them suitable for NeoPixel installs. Price is per cell. Note: Our protected 18650 stock is usually too long for the single 18650 cell holders we have in stock (due to the extra length added by the protection PCB). Chat to us prior to ordering & we'll test fit.
  • #8-32 thread for US designed sabers (Saberforge, Ultrasabers etc). Please feel free to check with us re: the correct thread for your saber.
  • M4 thread for sabers designed pretty much anywhere else in the world other than the US. These will kit LGT, TXQ & many others. Please feel free to check with us re: the correct thread for your saber.
  • A quick Google has suggested these thread sizes: Metric: 7.7 mm OD, thread root diameter is 6.9 mm × 0.794 mm pitch.
  • Out of stock
Stripped your threads in your blade retention hole? No problem. Drill the hole out and re-tap for the larger #10-32 thread. Feel free to contact us for advice.

  • This is the SHORT pin option. The long pin version are the standard choice unless you are installing in hilts with shallow emitters (i.e. thin neck models), where you would want this short pin version. If you are not already using a chassis with a dedicated recess, you will likely need a PCB holder. Kit comes un-assembled. You need to solder your own pins into the PCB. The manual can be found here.
  • This is the LONG pin option. Long pins are the standard choice unless you are installing in hilts with shallow emitters (i.e. thin neck models), where you would want a short pin version. If you are not already using a chassis with a dedicated recess, you will likely need a PCB holder AND a Lens Cover (to better support the pins. Kit comes un-assembled. You need to solder your own pins into the PCB. The manual can be found here.
  • ShtokCustomWorx NPXL V3 LED Strip PCB Holder. This is the hilt side and for 1" emitters. It is also designed for the both the long pins AND short pins. Note that, for use with Long pins, you will need to purchase an additional lens cover. This is required for use with the long pin PCB. If you do not use a lens cover when using the long pins PCB you can risk bending or damaging your pins.
